Detail

Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is a key biomolecule that plays a fundamental role in maintaining skin hydration and supporting tissue elasticity. Oxelle has been developed with a formulation that combines HA with amino acids, designed for applications in aesthetics and skin rejuvenation. However, due to the complexity of such formulations, it is essential to scientifically confirm the actual presence of HA within the product.

A study published in the European Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences investigated the composition of Oxelle using a variety of advanced laboratory techniques, including:

  • DMAB Colorimetric Test: to detect the presence of HA through specific colorimetric reactions.
  • Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR Spectroscopy): particularly ¹H-NMR and DOSY-NMR, to identify HA-specific signals and to analyze the molecular weight distribution.
  • Purification and Sonication Procedures: to reduce interference from amino acids and to make the HA structure more clearly detectable.

Findings revealed that although the original samples contained HA in lower amounts than the declared concentration, after amino acid removal and sonication, clear HA signals were observed in the NMR spectra. This provided strong confirmation that Oxelle indeed contains Hyaluronic Acid.

Conclusion

This study provides evidence-based confirmation that Oxelle genuinely contains Hyaluronic Acid, even in its complex formulation with amino acids. The combined use of DMAB and DOSY-NMR proved to be highly effective in verifying HA’s presence, reflecting the product’s development standards that emphasize scientific accuracy, reliability, and transparency.
